Painting Competition
The BTE painting competition makes a triumphant return this year with simplified entry structure and a change to how winners are picked as well as some additional trophies to hand out! Simply figure out which category/categories you want to enter, bring your models along to the Expo and keep your fingers crossed for a trophy!
Painting Competition Rules
Competition entries may be submitted at any time over the weekend
Painting competition entrants may submit up to one entry per category
The Youngblood category may only be entered by painters aged 15 and under
Models may be any scale and from any manufacturer, 3D print etc but recasts will not be accepted
Entries must be appropriate for public display/SFW
Judges will select winners for each category - There will be no public vote
Winners and Awards will be announced on Sunday at 3pm
Any entries that are not collected by the end of the Expo will be stored at the Hobby Hive shop for collection
Entrants accept that any damage or loss during the competition is not the responsibility of the Bedford Tabletop Expo or Hobby Hive
All entries will be displayed over the weekend inside glass cabinets for safety/security
Painting Competition Categories
Single Miniature - Gold, Silver, Bronze
One Miniature with a base size/footprint up to 60mm
Group or Unit - Gold, Silver, Bronze
Two to Ten Miniatures with base sizes/footprints up to 40mm each
Large Miniature - Gold, Silver, Bronze
One Miniature with a base size/footprint of at least 60mm
Youngblood - Gold, Silver, Bronze
Up to three miniatures of any size as a single entry. Under 16s Only.
BEST IN SHOW
A special award for the overall favourite entry across all categories.
