SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS

We appreciate the immense effort and passion that goes into building, creating, and growing a small business or creative project. One of our core goals with the Bedford Tabletop Expo is to showcase some of the most talented people in the hobby space; those producing their own art, accessories, games, miniatures, and works of literature.

Of our 25+ traders, over 80% are small businesses, individual creatives, or family-owned ventures. Every purchase, compliment, or conversation you have with our traders at the Expo makes a real impact and helps them thrive. So keep an eye out for something unique, support small creators, and spread the word!

INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY MISSION

The Bedford Tabletop Expo is designed to bring together the very best our hobbies have to offer; open-minded, friendly, and empathetic hobbyists and gamers who become part of our growing, inclusive community.

A core part of our mission is to provide a space where everyone can be themselves, relax, and fully enjoy their passions and interests. We ensure that all staff and volunteers understand what is expected of them and are equipped to help maintain a welcoming, accessible, and harassment-free event for all.

open play gaming TABLES

Alongside the organised tournaments, participation games and demos running throughout the weekend, we also want to make sure there’s space at the Bedford Tabletop Expo for you to simply sit down and play the games you love.

A number of tables will be set aside as designated Open Play zones. These are free to use; bring along your favourite tabletop games, board games or TCGs to enjoy with friends, or pick something new from our gaming library to try out.

If wargaming is more your speed, Hobby Hive will be providing a selection of dedicated wargaming tables. These can be booked on the day directly at the Hobby Hive trade stand.

There’s no advance booking for Open Play or wargaming tables. If you arrive and need a space, just speak to a member of the event staff and we’ll check availability and help get you set up.
